It’s hard to believe 2016 has come and gone. Everyone at Baron Hats is proud to end the year knowing we worked hard to create the best hats possible. Our hats have been featured in everything from glamorous award shows, thrilling movies, to comical commercials.

Other tv shows that showcase our hats include Modern Family, The Mindy Project, and AMC’s Preacher. We look forward to continuing the hat making tradition in 2017 and already have some exciting projects lined up.

We welcomed challenging designs, like creating the extra wide brim hat Beyoncé wore on her Formation Tour, and worked with new artists like Boy George and LL Cool J.  We also had the pleasure of creating hats for returning customer Britney Spears, who wears an ivy colored satin top hat for her Piece of Me Las Vegas residency. .

2016 was also a great year for the western genre as both The Magnificent Seven hit theaters and Westworld arrived to the small screen. The Magnificent Seven was a large production and kept us busy for a few months as we made hats for Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D'Onofrio, Byung-hun Lee, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo. For more information about our Westworld hats please see our blog and product page.

Finally, we were also saddened this year by the news of the passing of Prince, Debbie Reynolds, and her daughter, Carrie Fisher. We first worked with Prince while he was on tour in 2004. Up until his untimely passing we made a variety of custom fedoras and homburgs for him. Mark also worked closely with Debbie and her son, Todd Fisher, on restoring hats in her personal collection. It was an honor working with such accomplished artists. Our thoughts and prayers go out to their loved ones.
